NES Reproductions
What is all this about?

I am an avid NES collector, I always loved playing games on the console. Sure, all the games I own can easily be found on the Internet and played through an emulator on your PC, XBOX or even Gameboy. But for me, it's not the same as playing it on the actual console. Holding the controller in your hand, examining the wonderful 80's and early 90's artwork and just reliving my childhood.

A few years ago I was shocked to find out how many wonderful games were in the development stages, but due to one reason or another, never saw the light of day in North America. These games can easily be found on the Internet, but I wanted to recreate the feeling the developers were pushing for all those years ago. The ability to play the game the way it was intended to on an actual TV! This is why I decided to create the game reproductions you see below.

  • These carts are professionally put together using state of the art equipment. They will last for years to come.
  • All the images below are of the actual carts playing on my TV.
  • Extensive quality control has been taken during the development cycle (battery life tests, component longevity data retention tests, and other quality control tests)
  • I stand behind the quality of these reproductions. Customer satisfaction is my #1 priority!

Order Details

Here's all you need to know:

  • the games will work in any USA/Canada NES system (since it has a legally licensed lockout chip)
  • the games will work in any worldwide NES system (as long as the lockout chip is disabled)
  • the games will look the same as a commercially sold ones
  • a professional color printed label will be on the cart (printed using professional color laser printer + laminated glossy)
  • All prices include shipping
  • All games are fully tested and shipped with working batteries (if applicable)

A donor cart is required to create the reproduction. Different reproductions use different donor carts. Unfortunately, retro gaming has become really popular lately. Finding donor carts locally has become very difficult and expensive for me! (especially in huge quantities). As such, you must supply the donor cart in order to get a reproduction. Next to each game listed below, you'll find a list of valid donor carts (click on the circuit board picture). Each game requires 1 donor cart. You will get back the same cart as you ship to me.

I also provide the following services (e-mail me for more info):

  • Copy your save game from a PC emulator onto the reproduction cart
  • Backup any NES save games and e-mail you the file
  • Backup any rare NES prototype games
  • Move save games from one cart to another!
  • Replace batteries in different carts (NES, SNES, Genesis)
  • Fix dead Game Action Replay (GAR) units

Cost

  • 25$US per game
